What does eta mean on utorrent

Or should it get into the realms of statistical analysis and the medians of the remaing data and rates be calculated and that used? Yes, I know that uTorrent calculates the ETA for each torrent based on each torrents current transfer rate.

What I am requesting is that uTorrent calculates a combined ETA for all torrents based on all torrents current combined transfer rates.

Currently, uTorrent might tell me that one of these torrents has 5 seconds left, 3 others some number of minutes and the last one infinite ETA. Start new topic. Recommended Posts. I have a follow up question for this topic. I understand that the infinity symbol means there is no seeders but technically if I have completed the download, wouldn't I be a seeder?

Do you think that leeching from a more popular more seeders torrent would give me a better chance at a better ratio or from a less popular less seeders torrent? On a private tracker about the ONLY way is to improve or keep a ratio, is to seed something that others want but nobody else has. Which usually means you have to get first dibs on one of the "capping" schedules so you can be the initial seed.
