Where to buy golden lotus gear

Went to the pagoda and no quests! Questgivers seemed to be there, but I couldn't get any quests at all. Found a thread that suggested Anji had moved to the Gai Lao ruins area, so I flew over there--still no quests. If you are having trouble opening the Golden Lotus dailies, as I was on my second level 90 toon, you may have a phasing issue.

If you're having this problem, these quests seemed to be the answer for me. Still working on getting Exalted 6k away on August Celestials for the tailoring bag pattern and will have to get exalted on that third toon for the same tailoring pattern. I will have imperial silk before I get the pattern. With all the dailies, I don't have time to do anything else. There are also still dailies available from the Setting Sun Garrison which reward rep each. These gains are before any bonus rep you might get from Guild, the Commendation or others. This is the current status on the PTR and may be subject to change.

Comment by perculia Major changes are coming to the Golden Lotus in 5. What is going away : Eternally in the Vale is being removed, as well as the related quests and rewards. Players currently progress farther through this quest series as they gain reputation--this is not tied to any daily quests. The multi-tiered daily system is simplified.

Some quest hubs are destroyed, such as the Golden Pagoda and Whitepetal Lake hubs. The quests to kill elites are removed. The Fish of the Day pool for Jewel Danio is now a sha-infested area. Many parts of the Vale are now Sha-infested and destroyed. Most NPCs are tinged with grey, there are many Sha populating the zone, and there is a larger Mogu presence than before.

What is staying : The Setting Sun Garrison is still a quest hub in 5. Players can complete all the quests that are tied to Quest Achievements from this hub. Aki the Chosen is still to the east of the Golden Pagoda. Defeating her completes Taming Pandaria. All achievements tied to daily quests are obtainable. Alani is still flying around as before--presumably there will be a way to acquire Reins of the Thundering Ruby Cloud Serpent.

The elite mobs for One Many Army are now marked as rare spawns. These award reputation when killed. This is smart loot, meaning that it will only drop for eligible Engineers. I read that they are only supposed to give 5 reputation per kill for the smaller Shas but I was getting I imagine it was because I was getting 2 extra rep for guild bonus and being human and then double the original rep for having the account bound reputation buff.
